The Start of Something Good

It all changed 48 days ago.

The moment after you submit your mission papers you think that everything is going to change, but really the moment that it all changes is when you start saying good bye to all of your friends . Don’t get me wrong the moment that I opened my call and read Vancouver Canada mission, my whole world changed. I was overwhelmed with the amount of love that I have for the people of Canada, people that I never met before. Love that I could only have my the grace of the Savior ! The moment that I got my call everything changed and yet nothing really did.

Last night was just an overwhelming night for me, I had to say good-bye to my of my very best friends. A day that I didn’t think that would actually come around, a day that i kept say of that is forever away. And now I am looking this day in the face , this day make all other day become real, this day mean it is actually happening , that in 10 short day I’ll be on a plane headed to Salt Lake International all by myself to embark on journey that I thought was never going to happen. Holding back the tears I know that this wasn’t the easiest good-bye and that the hardest is just around the corner. This feeling, this moment, the memories that I am taking with me are all worth it.

I am so excited to serve the people of Vancouver. I can’t believe that the days are going by so fast. I know that heavenly father knows me personal, he knows the true desirous of my heart. He know what is best of me and where I need to be in life. “I will go where you want me to go, I will say what you want me to say, I will be what you want me to be.” Sometimes you just have to trust that the lord knows what he is doing!
